AI Suite and it's components usually have a certain startup procedure of running scripts and services in a particular order. Manually stopping and starting services is not normal and likely to break something.
Something is wrong with your AI Suite installation if it does not work automatically when you boot into Windows.
Edit: A few years ago I got the Atkex error and the only thing that solved it was to make sure my registry was completely free of AI Suite information.
Before new installation I used Windows Uninstaller, AI Suite cleaner, and manually searched windows registry after for leftovers. I also checked and manually removed any AI Suite Services and AI Suite folders that remained on hard drive.Last edited by pharma; 05-28-2020 at 01:10 PM.

Problem with ASUS it seems. They stop supporting their products after 19 years this will be the last motherboard I ever buy.
Its a simple windows update. Why can you not make the motherboard drivers work?
