Those captures don't show secondary/tertiary timings. U can have the same primaries but looser secondaries/tertiaries and see a great decrease in performance. For example with a lower refresh interval, the Aida bandwidth is quite lower. Your captures of Cinebench and CPU-Z neither show clocks during the tests.

U should open Asus Memtweakit and hwinfo64 apps during the tests and then take an image showing all the info ir order to have more details.

In my case, Omega and 7980xe as CPU, 3006 provides similar results in Aida64 as 0802 using the same timings at 3800/4000, same for CPU-Z or Cinebench when clocking the CPU at 4.8GHz. Memory stability is even better in the new 3006.

I updated the system from 1909 to 2004, and the CPU performance is back, the same as the BIOS 0802, but the memory performance is still the same as the previous test results, still performance degradation，I have updated the topic article

Memory performance from AIDA64 Benchmark didn't matter for real world performance.
It also depending on what Windows build do you running too.

From my experience the 02000068 Microcode perform the best result as below.



Compare to lastest 02006906 Microcode those 02000068 also better.



if you want the better number from AIDA64 I recommended 02000068 microcode for your rigs.

But when coming to many scenario especially you love performance, the 02006906 microcode DATE 2020-04-24 was good enough.

Here is some result from CPU-Z 1.92 that I had record to sending both Intel and Microsoft teams.



When compare to successor Sunny Cove U one the AVX2/AVX512 number of 02006906 microcode was awesome.
(Note :: Skylake X had 2 FMA 512-bit VS Sunny Cove U had 1 FMA 512-bit for consider )

As far as I know, 3006BIOS will have an impact on 9th Gen CPU, but not on 7th Gen CPU

It was the same piece of silicon the different was only thermal paste on 7980XE but solder applied on 9980XE.



However from internal source on Malaysia fab origin.
9980XE = Factory overclocked 7980XE.

Thus , It may not had wide headroom for overclock as anyone hope.

But my friends around me all experienced memory performance degradation with 3006BIOS+9th Gen CPU, the 3006BIOS+7th Gen CPU has no such problem. Why?

trying to push it to limit. However many friends around the globe noticed that 7980XE di-lided always perform better than 9980XE. I've no idea about this

I just want to get memory performance back to where it was before
