Where can I get a newer Realtek Audio Driver than listed in the download center?

I have an issue with my audio driver since it keeps crashing when using ASIO.
The listed Realtek driver for my Mainboard Hero XI is 6.0.1.8666 which is over half a year old while I can find much newer versions on the internet.
For example on Computer Base Version 6.0.8854.1 or from Lenovo Version 6.0.8777.1.

But all of those are supposedly for specific models and vary widely in size (from 30 MB to 400 MB).
So, can anyone tell me where I can get newer Realtek drivers that will work with my Hero XI that the one offered by ASUS?

Thank you for your help!

Which realtek chip do you have?
Two good sources is either the realtek site or station drivers.

I got the info from HwInfo and downloaded mine from the realtek site.

On the spec page of the Hero XI it says

  • ROG SupremeFX 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC S1220
  • ESS® ES9023P

From what I've read, the Chipset always follows the naming scheme ALCxxx but I can not find anything about that on the spec page of my board and neither can I find it with HWinfo. I attached a screenshot of it in case you can make sense of it.

EDIT: I found this page that offers the most recent version I could find and without unnecessary goodies such as EQ. What do you think about it? What is it with "UAD Driver"?

EDIT 2: Just read that this one is only recommended for devices that are not supported anymore which is hopefully not the case with mine.

Linux was so kind to tell me that my Board uese the ACL1220 chipset, which seems to be their newest one.

From where precisely do you download your new drivers from Realtek? Do you mean this site? Because all the drivers there are 3 years old...

I have now tried "Realtek HD Audio-Treiber 6.0.8854.1 WHQL" from ComputerBase and "Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Drivers Version R2.8x (8858.1) WHQL" from Station Drivers but both failed during install saying that the driver package does not contain supported drivers.
I coult try the hacked together version I linked in the prev post but I am kind of annoyed right now...
With Microsoft's default driver ASIO didn't work at all.

Polite word : A bit more thought / respect to reply would not go amiss

I am sorry if I sounded disprespectful.
I did not mean to insult pinkfloyd or his reply. I was just mad at that website.
Why do you need to create an account to view a post?! That just seems so greedy from the forum admins.

I just want to thank you all for helping! 🙂

He is correct. This is the place to get them.
