Crosshair VII Hero not detecting Optical Drive on USB-Sata Adaptor

    Hi all,

As above, the board detects SSDs and Hard discs connected via said adaptor, but not optical drives. Not a Windows issue, because I cannot see the DVD drive in BIOS, but the SSD / 3.5 " HDD are showing up.

Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

You may have to enable CSM Compatibilty for Legacy devices in the BIOS.
