G531gd ROG laptop battery drains very fast
I bought a new rog strix g531gd last month
since then i was facing some issues regarding battery
The battery drains very fast even on normal usage like coding and usual browsing
according to given reviews its should run for 3-5 hours on normal usage but it barely runs for 2 hours
is it even a issue or i am the only one who is feeling it.

G531gd ROG laptop battery drains very fast
I bought a ROG strix g531gd laptop a month ago
but since then i was feeling that its battery was draining very fast
according to reviews it should run for atleast 3-5 hours but barely runs for 2 hours even if its just 1 month old

I keep mine plugged in all the time, because battery sucks dry quickly too. My son's is the same. We have G752VT and G752VY. 17" gaming laptops just use a lot.
You can extend your time by using some of the W10 power management features. Frankly, I prefer performance over energy conservation so that's another reason I just keep it plugged in. I am in an area with very stable power.Davemon50
