On the Marvell site, looks like new FW and driver 109 and ....21 respectively. **https://www.marvell.com/support/downloads.html

It is normal for you that the FW does not work on your motherboard.

You can still install the firmware if you so like.
Use the flasher from this thread https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?116080-Aquantia-10G-3-1-100-Firmware-Update
move the 3 .clx files from the 109 firmware to the above mentioned flasher and rename them to the names expected in the xml file or edit the xml file with the new names

Thanks, but is it necessary since Asus boards aren’t mentioned? Does it fix the issue outlined for our Asus boards?

Another thing I was thinking today was if the FW is needed for Asrock x299 wouldn’t be applicable to Asus x299 boards?*
