Will this work on other asus boards? Has anyone tried this on a new asus Z490 board like the XII Extreme?

@criskoe
Yep, there should be no problem, use these files after decompressing them:

Curious question. Thought that maybe one of you guys would be able to give me a opinion.
Do you guys primarily use your Aquantia 10gb NIC for everyday use like gaming? On my new extreme z490 mb the intel I225-V NIC is acting funny and after troubleshooting with the asus rep hes said that I might have a faulty intel NIC. Which to be honest is a huge pain in the ass as the place i purchased it is completely out of stock and they do not know when more will become available. Could be some time. And other option is to RMA the board to asus but with everything going on in the world right now I fear that the turn around time will be horrendous. Such a bummer too cause my system is on a full custom loop aswell so a complete tear down would be needed. I recently gave away my previous system cause I had at first thought that everything was fine. So any down time would put me completely out
Any ways. Curious as to if any one of you guys familiar with this aquantia 10gb nic if its a sufficient nic for gaming (latency and packets) and everyday use? Like how well does it stack up to the 2.5 intel NICs. (I225-V) Would I be silly to not primarily be using the aquantia nic anyways and just forget about the wonky intel nic? I have no need to two nics personally as I dont plan on ever teaming them.
Part of me wants to get it replaced just for the sake that the intel nic is not functioning properly but on the other hand Its such a pain for something that might not even matter if I dont end up using it anyways. What do you guys think?

I used Aquantia for gaming without a single issue.

Thanks
Much appreciated. Updated 10G firmware on Formula XII. Appears to work well which is good since the Intel i225-V is giving me problems.
