Hi,

I would like to get your advise regarding my future project for my old G20AJ,
Currently running with stock power supply for GTX 745.

• Use 300 mm PCIE riser cable from thermal take. Will this be long enough?
  
• use external GPU/PSU mounted on rack. Will be using 650 w PSU solely for the gpu.
  
• wire the on/off jumper for external GPU directly from the G20AJ power button.
  

Is there any thing i have to be aware of if I have to pursue this project?
Do i need to make grounding cable for my gpu/psu rack & swap jumpers on my motherboard.
Like how others changed the jumper when using 2 power supply for the G20?
