Intel i9 7940X: I need Quick Sync

Hi, I'm using a software, Edius 9 that needs Quick Sync to export to h.265. I have Intel i9 7940X and I don't know if it has Quick Sync. How caould I check it? For me Quick Sync is important, but maybe my processor doesn't have Quick Sync because it is not of the latest generation.
I thank you for your suggestion.

Hello. 7940X i9 does not support QuickSync, nor do the top 20 reasonably priced processors. Nothing to do with the fact that your processor is from 2017. The latest 10940X i9 and 10980XE do not support it either. Usually, the CPUs that have Quick Sync support are the ones with an iGPU.
That said, you don't necessarily need a Quick Sync enabled CPU for hardware transcoding as you can use a GPU from either AMD or Nvidia.

Thanks a lot for your precious suggestions but I neeed to ask another question please, I'm not an expert guy.
I have NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1080Ti and Asus PRIME X299-DELUXE, what have I to do precisely to export to h.265 from Edius 9? It use Quick Sync to export. Thanks again one.

If you want to stick with using Edius, there is not much you can do if the CPU does not support h265 export (as previously mentioned not all CPUs do). Maybe use HandBrake instead? There are also other forums on the net that talk about this issue.
