    Maximus X COde SSD/NVME help

So I am thinking of buying my first NVME ssd to utilize one of the 2 m.2 slots.
    According the manual:
    1. When the M.2_1 socket 3 is operating in SATA mode, SATA port 1 will be disable.
    2. When the M2._2 Socket 3 operates in PCIe 3.0x4 mode, SATA ports 5 and 6 are diabled

The question I have is, if I put an NVME drive that operates in PCIe 3.0x4 mode in slot M.2_1, what SATA ports are disabled?. Thanks

Well I was hoping that would be the answer. I'm not sure why ASUS didn't list all the different configurations for both M.2 slots in the manual. I'm also considering the ASUS Hyper M.2 X16 PCIe 3.0 X4 Expansion Card for added NVME's.

    Thanks for your help Arne.
