    Hi,

I no longer offer audio drivers packages for notebooks/laptops in order to focus on my original field : DIY/Motherboards.

Please refer to your product support page to download the appropriate drivers for your product.

Hey, Mokichu. While I understand your decision, I don't get why you removed your driver pages instead of archiving them. I could have downloaded the last one on your notebook audio drivers page but now my only option is getting the 2 years old driver from Asus support page of my GX551 laptop. I hope you reconsider your decision and make your previous work on notebook audio drivers available.

Thank you again Mokichu for your work !

What does those updates bring usually, let's say, compared to the ones a month ago ?
Out of curiousity, if they are bringing more performance/quality of sound, or they just are expanding the range of compatitibility of new/other products (headsets/microphones etc...) mostly ?

    Thank you

Thx for your answer and effort, it would be nice to keep A-Volute drivers updated tho, as they don't do it on a regular basis...

    Good afternoon @Mokichu.

Thank you for taking the time to release these drivers.

A question regarding the Realtek Audio Drivers (I have an Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E Gaming MB so the correct Realtek audio drivers are UAD - ASUS ROG SS3, correct?)

In the past, when updating the existing Realtek audio drivers, one would have to uninstall the RealTek Audio Console App, restart, use Driver Store Explorer to force delete the old drivers, restart, install the new drivers you release, restart, then reinstall the apps.

Does this process still need to be followed or can one simply update the drivers by running "install.cmd" from the archive and old drivers are overwritten?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

My decision is final and not revocable : I focus on my original field which is DIY/Motherboards.

    Hi,

Realtek never provides changelog, however I can tell you in general that the changes are adds of new hardware IDs, bug/security fixes, improvement of the sound spectrum, support for new games/apps/OS etc ...

It will be updated by Windows Update (your current version is newer than the version available via Windows Update, but as soon as this is no longer the case, it will be updated by Windows Update).

    Hi,

Correct. You can directly follow your UPDATE process from the first post of this thread.

Understood, and, just to confirm, skip the cleanup step and go directly to the update portion, right?

    Thanks!

Ok that is what I needed to know. Thank you for your help.
