I personally have had no sound problems with Sonic Studio for about a year, specially when you get Nahimic updates though Windows update now, and @MoKiChU also includes the latest version with his motherboard sound driver packs, even updating the single components like SS3(Nahimic) and republishing the updated pack.
i use rear jack with 3.5mm extension cable. Motherboard is crosshair viii hero so quality shouldn't be issue.

Unfortunately, this latest version broke my audio, there is no sound anymore with ROG Crosshair VIII Hero. Is it possible for you to share link for previous version of the ROG DTS driver?

However, if you use an jack extension cable, this detection will not be done if you unplug then plug your headphone at the female jack extension cable level. For the automatic impedance detection to take place, the disconnection & reconnection must be done at the jack motherboard level.
I always do that, but impedance detection sometimes detect 90 ohms, sometimes 30 so sound is little different, what could be problem?

If i let it to the default Powerful value it will never do these weird stutters. I have a Strix Z390 E Gaming. To be clear, the stutter happens when i launch an app, let's say steam and the music is playing, or changing tabs in chrome, launching new ones etc. It does this even with the OEM driver posted on mb's page.
I can not confirm. I tested it. It works fine for me (ASUS Strix B360-I Gaming). I think it is due to your system configuration.

I checked my overclocking settings and it seems that it was because of the VRM spread spectrum being disabled. I just had to enable it. Thx for the response, it was on my side.

    Crackling sound

    Hello my friends.

I need your help because I'm struggling for a few months, after the 20H2 update and still can't figure it out. I have a Prime B350-Plus MB, with Realtek ALC887/897 and a 5.1 sound system. I tried almost every driver I found online, and everything is fine for a few minutes or hours. Then, it starts to distort or crack at some levels of the sound/music, and I have sound delays on some Youtube clips. I have the same problem on browsers or apps, Spotify, Winamp, or movie players. Games are not affected.
It worked with some drivers, but only for 2.0, not for 5.1.
Now, I have installed your AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG-TUF-PRIME_RTK_MB_v6.0.9102.1, but the sound is still broken. I uninstalled the older driver, and installed this one. I don't know if it was something else required to work properly.

    Do you have any suggestion?

    Thank you very much.

L.E. Thank you MoKiChU. I read all your driver related posts, but somehow I missed the tips section... I had the hibernation settings off, but now I tried the MSI configuration. I'll wait to see what happens. So far, 5 hours without issues.

    Hi,

Got a new mobo for few months now its Asus B550-F.
Since I bought her I always use drivers from this thread for onboard audio.
But I have noticed that windows reliability monitor every few days detects some audio related problems.
For example most common error is:

Controls the DTS audio processing object stopped working

    or

Windows audio device graph isolation stopped working

Otherwise my audio is completly fine while gameing and watching movies, listening to music.
But I dont know what is causing these errors and should I be woried?

Latest two driver versions shared here are broken as hell, Windows completely stops giving sound output from stereo jack, and OP loves removing old driver versions and not sharing them again even if people ask for them.

I don't recommend anyone to use those drivers until OP starts providing links for previous versions (he's also removing them from mega.nz even if you somehow have links for old versions, lmao), if you don't want your audio driver get messed up.
