You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF) from this thread with the ASUS ROG SS3 motherboards category.

Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process with cleanup step, but this time to prevent Windows Update from generating a drivers install conflict, disable your Internet connection from the start of the CLEANUP process until the end of drivers install of the INSTALL process (after the restart). For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.

    That did it.

    Hi Mokichu,

Just wondering, like you automated the installation process, do you think the cleanup process could be automated too? Thank you

Knowing that the cleanup must be performed only during the first install, I prefer that people perform these simple actions manually and effectively and so that they know and understand what they are doing.

Those who have been following me for a long time know that I have always tried to offer the most refined drivers and the most integrated in the system (Drivers Only) when the number of .inf to install manually is not excessive.

The .cmds used here for the install/update of Realtek Audio Drivers is a continuation of this Drivers Only logic (the .cmds use Microsoft PNPUtil (which is included natively in every Windows system files) and contain only a check of the admin right then an automation of the equivalent of a right click then Install on each necessary .inf, in the necessary order, according to the case then an auto restart).
Spot on MoKiChU, there are far too many variables for each system and it could cause a lot of issues.

I didn't like the instant restart at the end of the script so I removed it and added a pause plus some text reminding me to restart.

    Thanks again MoKiChU.

I do the cleanup every time I update just to be safe, no issues so far. Biggest hassle would be re-setting the speaker distances and dBs etc from the Audio Control Panel but no biggie.

I didn't like the instant restart at the end of the script so I removed it and added a pause plus some text reminding me to restart.
I would like this as standard (or maybe an option) I would like to be able to read what has taken place.

I also like it as you have it now. The cleanup is pain but you only gotta do it once so step by step by hand is safest since you don't know how techie the end users are here so I think best to keep it simple series of steps as is today. I'm a tech dork so I always look at the cmd scripts in textpad so I know exactly what's it's going to do. Great job!

@ Forza Horizon 3/4 users : Please check if you still have a crash with this new version of SS3.
Hey All, i tried it again with Forza Horizon 4, the issue is still there after the update to SS3
