I bought new headphone, and connected it to rear 3.5mm jack, but volume is very low, amplify level set to extreme level and impedance sensing about 700, what can i do to fix it?
edit: After couple of plugging/unplugging it is set to powerful, and ohms about 90, and i forgot headphone has it own volume, seperated from windows, whats the best setting to get maximum quality audio? to raise headphone volume or windows?Last edited by Shocker; 12-09-2021 at 07:41 PM.

Windows 10 is not able to find Realtek audio at all even after I downloaded the latest driver.
in device manager it only shows "High Definition Audio Device"

Hi,
You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :
You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3 MB) from the first post of this thread.
- Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process.
- Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
- Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process.
- For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.
Also, to avoid ZoneID blocking trouble :
- For each downloaded .zip : ZoneID unblock the .zip (Right click on the .zip file > Properties > Check the box Unblock > OK).
or
- Disable the ZoneID blocking completely (you will no longer have to unblock each downloaded .zip) :
- Right-click Windows Start button then click Launch then type gpedit.msc > OK
- User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Attachment Manager
- Do not preserve zone information in file attachment : Enabled > OK.

Many thanks @MoKiChU, I think the "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup" file did the trick with the SS3 launch error and it's now works flawlessly.
But for the second issue, I still feel sound quality reduction if I enabled the "Upmix/Surround option". but that's OK I won't enable it for now, hoping there will be fix with the upcoming driver updates.
Thanks again dear .. wishing you a great day

x470 crosshair hero 7 gen 1 or gen 2 install?
Hi, sorry to bother, but I can't figure out how to identify gen 1 vs gen 2 on the drivers. I've been using it for a while prior to there being a generational difference, so I figure I'm probably gen 1, but I have the crosshair hero 7 x470 (non-wifi edition if that matters).
Thanks in advance!
Edit: of course I find it right after I finally decide to post asking for help, but for anyone else with the same question, here ya go: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...108#post849409
If I'm reading this correctly, I can use either but gen2 is recommendedLast edited by Tyr808; 12-11-2021 at 03:39 PM. Reason: answered my own question

Hello, I'm trying to help a friend get the latest drivers for their system as your threads helped me get the latest drivers and resolve some performance issues similar to the ones they're currently having, while my driver for the Z390 Gaming-F was easy to figure out, I'm not familiar with the abbreviated names/terms next to each driver category (RTK, DTSX Ultra, DTS AP, etc).
What driver best qualifies for the ASUS TUF B365M-Plus Gaming board?
