    Realtek Audio Manager recovery?

Something in the latest round of windows updates screwed up access to the Realtek HD Audio Manager on my tuf x570 pro. I've uninstalled the realtek drivers and done the removal via the tool and reinstalled the drivers specific to this model from the first page list but no luck. I have the audio console but theres no equalizer controls for the speakers/headphones setting only the digital output. Does anyone know how to get the audio manager software back and working properly as the console is useless.

I followed the guide on clean install, do you have any advice?

Exactly the same for me, did he reply to say if this was normal?

    Hi,

    - Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
    - Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
    - Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process

Note : If some apps (like Google Chrome for example) are not visible in the advanced mode, it is because they have been blacklisted by A-Volute because they are not supported by the advanced mode.

    Hi,

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS MB Gen2) from the first post of this thread : [DRIVERS] Realtek USB Audio (MB | Intel 5xx & AMD TRX40).

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

    Hi,

It is expected to work like this (when a Third Party apps/drivers is bundled with the Realtek audio drivers package type, the equalization is done via the Third Party app), if this does not suit you, since this occurring with drivers package from your motherboard support page (and therefore that it is not specific to the drivers that I propose) : Open a ticket with ASUS Support.

    Hi,

The drivers are not show in installed apps because like most of the drivers packages I offer, they are Drivers Only (without software or .exe installer included). If you need to uninstall them one day, just follow your CLEANUP process.

I did the CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, and now I have no information about version installed.

    Any guess?

Looks like it's getting it's values from the registry. Perhaps the original ASUS driver you installed before using these drivers? The "AsusSetup" program makes keys in the registry when installing applications for the purposes of Asus LiveUpdate. Use the Realtek Audio Console to check installed version or Windows Device Manager.

MoKiChU has already explained that he only provides the Drivers ONLY. If you install from the Asus support page or through Armoury Crate then it install an Uninstaller and other unnecessary junk which adds registry entries that Armoury Crate uses to determine the versions that you have installed. To me, when it comes to Realtek, a driver only approach is much cleaner than the extra junk that is installed through an installer.
