Maximum Compatible Height of 2.5" Internal HDD for ASUS GL502VSK Laptop Series
Hi,
I've been looking for 2.5" 2TB internal HDDs, but as you may know, all-new products with 7mm/9.5mm height use SMR technology which has slow write speed for daily use. I've found a few 2.5" 15mm 2TB internal HDD products with PMR/CMR technology, but I wonder if the HDD height is compatible with my laptop (ASUS GL502VSK).
BTW, The current original 2.5" 1TB internal HDD has 9.5mm height.

It's not recommended to use any hard drives thicker than 9.5mm.
