Hi all, has anyone seen this error before on x79? Is it a board defect?

Windows reports 12gb ram, CPU-Z detects the full 16. Memory is in triple channel, not quad?

Timings as above, advanced timings all set to Auto, CMD rate changed to 1T.

It now shows as Quad Channel but windows task manager still says 12GB ram?

This time it booted in 1T but shows triple again.

Please, if anyone has seen this issue before?

It's not looking good... 12g in memtest, 4 DIMMs in BIOS

Try reseating the CPU. If this doesn't help, try POST with one DIMM inserted in the channel that's dropping.
