If you have the ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING at the time of writing this, there is no BIOS update, the latest BIOS is 1402 from 2019/12/11. No doubt there will be an update as ASUS catch up with all their Z390 based motherboards download/support webpages.

This is the support page for that mobo:

ROG MAXIMUS XI EXTREME BIOS 1502
"Improved system stability.
Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (M11E.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

What about release notes??
"System stability" in what aspect?
What issues improved?
What about sh*tty dual rank memory support?

System stability in the form of, they may or may not have fixed something that was so obscure that even they do not know what it fixed, but it deserves a release since all other boards were getting updates that may or may not have been useful.

Just like some of the BIOS options themselves, there is no documentation and no one can answer the question as to what it changes and what it effects.

BUMP thread updated - Formula,Code, Apex and Hero (Wi-fi)

This is a bit strange, no love for the XI Hero

It should be way better than the 1401, right?

Same here, 1502 BSOD on startup if memory has XMP, in 1401 everything is fine, wonder if we have the same ram? Corsair LPX DDR4. Ran mem test no bad ram, everything is fine using 1401.
