I cannot update the ROG Maximus XI Hero in Armoury Crate. (HAL version 1.0.61 Date 2020/03/27 HTML version 1.02.10 Date 2020)
I kept getting "Sorry we cannot finish the file installation. Please restart the system and retry."
I've tried the following steps:
1. restart the computer
2. reinstall Aura Sync and Armoury Crate
3. clear SMOS

None of them works.

Reinstalling OS is the only solution for ROG player 🙂

If you want to use AmouryCrate, you need to turn it on in the UEFI firmware settings prior to installing the OS. Once you log-in to the OS you will get a prompt to install AmouryCrate. Install it. AmouryCrate has all your Aura Sync needs for the Motherboard and Addressable RGB peripherals. Whatever you do, do not install Aura Sync stand-alone software. It is already integrated with AmouryCrate. If you install the stand-alone Aura Sync software on top of AmouryCrate then the only way to fix it is a reformat of you PC.

What other Aura Sync compatible products do you have? Are they not supported in Crate yet? Aura and Crate should work together for this reason. (priorities are set to prevent conflicts).
Do you have any other 3rd-party lighting software? (for peripherals perhaps)

ROG Strix Flare
Tforce 4*8G Memory
ROG Strix Magnus
ROG Theta
ROG Aura Terminal
ROG RYUJIN.
They are all supported in Crate, and no I don't have any other 3rd party lighting software.
BTW, the drives I need to update in crate are "HAL version 1.0.61" and "HTML version 1.02.10" for ROG Maximus XI Hero. Are they AURA drives?

There should be an error code afterwards, can you provide that info?
HAL can affect Aura, but HTML is for UI functionality only.
