In all honesty, there are some critical problems with Asus software that are unforgivable. Here are two: First, why is the software reading and responding to the CPU temperature from a probe that is behind the CPU? That is very shoddy workmanship when there are one thousand times better ways to do it--for example, from the CPU core temperatures themselves (Intel systems--AMD, I'm not sure about).

Second, to an extent you can bypass a lot of the software, as mentioned above, for example, by setting up your fans in the BIOS vs with AI Suite 3. But, that said, since when is software that is not customer friendly a good policy in the first place--worse so when it is broken within a couple weeks anyhow? But even though you can bypass a lot of software, how is it Asus releases a faulty BIOS, namely, 3006, (total rubbish) and then when contacted tells you the problem is due to how you put the paste on your CPU or a similar cooling issue?

I once contacted EVGA and was astonished at the difference in the way my question was handled. I got a swift, friendly response that showed a genuine interest in getting at the core of the problem and addressing it promptly.

EVGA is in another world with customer service. I had a bad DP port on a newly purchased 2070 Super. Support and RMA was a breeze. They even upgraded me from the XC model to the XC Ultra. That however was a problem since I vertical mount to keep the chipset fan from being covered. My case will only support a 2 slot vertical mount. I called them up and they promptly sent me a replacement card and shipping label. Couldn't ask for better customer service.
