Is there a way to output video (HDMI) and/or audio (3.5mm jack) to a USB-c hub via the USB-c plug on the laptop? Or will audio and video run through the Displayport or usb 3.0? I want to setup a single connection hub / docking station without spending $180

Hello Frankwhoa,
The USB-c and USB-A ports on this model do not support Video and Audio output.
There are 1 mini DP port and 1 HDMI port, please try them.

Is there any way to hook up a docking station with this model? In other words, would the hdmi or displayport support usb function?

Hello Frankwhoa,
I'm sorry that both HDMI and mini DP ports are purely for display.
If you would like to have 1 dock and have all function, then you need to find those that contain external graphic card and drivers.
But we can not guarantee the compatibility.
