CPU vs. GPU Max Resolution

My CPU specifications says it supports a max resolution of 4096x2304.

My graphics card specifications says it supports a max resolution of 7680x4320.

Will the graphics card still support 7680x4320 even though the CPU only support 4096x2304?

Just a guess...but maybe your CPU has an iGPU built in that has that max resolution....and your stand alone GPU has a different max resolution.

The standalone will retain its max resolution....

Thanks brother.

"The iGPU stands for Integrated Graphics Processing Unit. The integrated graphics chipset is built into the processor and makes sure that your computer can use a display even without a dedicated GPU. That setting controls the amount of memory you give to the integrated graphics on your motherboard."
