As far as I can tell a couple of new (obscure to me) on-die PCI-E settings. Don't know if there is anything under-the-hood.
    Same microcode as 901.

    Testing my OC stability now.

So it is one PCIE setting that's new as far as I can see. It is the Resizable Base Address Register Support. It can permit the OS to see all of the video memory frame buffer instead of a small window. It is supported on AMD RX6000 and will be supported on Ampre based 30xx Nvida cards with an update. It should provide some performance increase.

    Installed. Works fine.

    1. Finally "F6" bug is fixed. No more crashes.
    2. Re-Size BAR Support
    3. Some typos are fixed

You need a graphics card and software that support it. Currently,I think only the AMD RX6000. Nvidia plan to support it in the 30xx series in the near future. Windows 10 already supports it , but few graphics cards do.

Thinking that rocket lake is coming next year, is M12E actually PCIe 4.0 compatible? Asus has remained vague on that one, and officially all maximus xii boards are PCIe 3.0. I found a news article with an illustration [1]:
