Currently I'm running 2x16GB memory kit, so I disable Channel A DIMM1, and Channel B DIMM1, not sure if that helps. Also I noticed CR1 works fine on my system regardless of DRAM MHz but requires much more voltage on VCCIO, VCCSA for stability.

Generally your processor's memory controller quality is the main factor in determining your limits when overclocking your memory, or adjusting timings. Memory modules & motherboard also come into play but I think having a strong IMC is main factor.

    My 3600MHz profile, I run in CR2 with VCCIO/SA @ 1.15V and with DRAM @ 1.45V, system is 100% stable.

    Attachment 87484
The MemTweakit version works, shows the timings but havent tried if it applies the changes. About the cr1, it happens to be on 2 boards already. Only upto 3200mhz can be set on cr1 and thats on the closest to the CPU slots. Strange. About the IMC, I can get 4200mhz cr16 1.51v or 4000cr14 1.65v, 3900mhz cr12-13 1.65v. So it seems my IMC is ok

@Braegnok any update on your ram? I wasn't able to get 4200 16-16-16 stable via HCI mem test yet.. But managed 16-17-17 might switch back to 16 flat again and try a few more things but keener on getting 4300/4400...

However, my GPU water block finally surfaced so ram ocing might have to wait a few days...Click image for larger version.

I just started working on 4400MHz this morning. I set DRAM @ 1.45V and VCCIO/SA @ 1.3V and this is first boot with everything in Auto.

Going to start adjusting, tighten things up, run some tests, everything is stable with IO/SA at 1,3V and 1.45V on memory bars.

That portable version of MemTweakit posted does work correctly with z490, it shows many timings incorrectly.

It is useful for seeing RTL/IOLs in Windows as those are correct though.

See this post for MSIs version(MSI Dragon Ball) that shows the correct values https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...ge2#post819199

The 11th 500 series will be connected to an M.2 by the native PCIE controller of the CPU, not by the PCH.
I think the current BIOS just allows the motherboard to recognize and use 11TH CPU normally.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 2002 version of the BIOS does not seem to have added the PATCH CODE of the previous BIOS version ( Improve system stability and performance related information) .

I use XII HERO with ASUS Xonar STX II PCIE sound card, it will cause BSOD: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION.
This problem has been resolved in the 0607 version update (1003 version is also in normal use).
Update to the BIOS version 2002, as long as you play music and use the ASUS Xonar STX II sound card,
it will immediately blue screen: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION.

Currently USB BIOS flashback on the motherboard to flash 2002 back to 1003 for normal use.
Installed 2002 bios. My STX II works fine, no BSODs.

Interestingly, some settings in the memory section have been added in this bios:

    Command Normalization
Early DQ Write Drive Strength and Equalization Training
    Read Voltage Centering 1D
    Dimm ODT CA Training
    DCC Initialization & Finalization
    DQ DFE Training
    tRDRD_dg_Training
    tRDRD_dg_Runtime

I don't know if it will have any impact on the memory OC.

Which slot is your stx ii installed in?
    Is vt&vt-d enabled in bios?
I just bsod as soon as I play foobar2000.
Can provide detailed hardware configuration ?

    Maybe for 11th gen IMC?

Is there an ME firmware update that comes with 2002?

Can you test to see if VT&VT-D is enabled,
Will encounter bsod&iommu errors when playing Foobar 2000 with STX II?

I run 2x16Gb at 4266 CL16. Z490 is daisy chain, so it works best on 2 sticks. Z390 I believe is T-Topology and likes 4 sticks above 3866-4000, but all depends on CPU IMC and mobo PCB as well.
