anyone else tried 2403 bios?
it has been released as "beta" in October, but they needed few months to upload it as "final" on the official website...
on the official download page they're even stating that
1. improve system performance and compatibility
2. improve system stability
3. improve DRAM compatibility

what i know is the 2403 will disable dy default the PTT (required enable for windows 11) , obiosly you can enable it manually , but i wonder why asus disable the PTT in 2403 as default when is enable in 2301

IDK, but the cynic in me thinks it was so they could advertise "Windows 11 ready" at the launch of Windows 11.

are you using win 10 or 11 ? if you are using 10 , you enable PTT in the 2403 ? or you leave desable as default

Per my PC specs, I am running Windows 11. I have always had PTT enabled as well as secureboot, even in Windows 10. I don't understand any concern of whether it is enabled by default or not - if it isn't just enabled it.

dude for know what version you are using if it stable or no , dont worrie about the versions of ME is not confidential no anyone can stolen your bank account from it

we are a community we are sharing info and problems we are facing , i google it today about bootloop and i find two interesting fixed lol , 1 is motherboard z490 have cpu power 8 pins and other 4 pins well someone say if you disconnected the 4 pins fix the problem beacuse unless you do extreme OC you dont need the extra 4 pins cpu power , 8 pins is enought, the other i see is if you disconnected the resset botton case from motherboard and the last one is enable sometime in the bios

And dude, I asked why you wanted my IME firmware version because I wanted to know how I could help. You didn't ask what version of IME and is it stable now did you?

is the 2403 updating the FW as well, or just the microcode?
I'm not a big fan updating the FW, in general I noticed performance loss in most of the cases

Obviously this will depend on the changes between UEFI builds. The consensus, unfortunately, over the last couple of years is that performance is worse due to the barrage of ucode security updates that had a negative impact on certain workload performance. These have plateaued at this stage, so most changes to the firmware will likely bring stability improvements.

I wonder if some stuff is really fixed now, during 2021 versions they messed up things for 10th trying to include the RocketCrap to work on Z490 as well
I'm curious if the so-called "improved ram compatibility" is for real, although on the QVL list seems to be nothing new so far
I might give it a try though, if it's monkey work I'll switch to the bios then )
