Asus G75V HDMI port not working

Hello,

So my HDMI port stopped working connecting to my Samsung TV, Tried different HDMI cables (known working ones)
' TV just say's "No source" I have uninstalled and reinstalled the nVidia 660 drivers. Rebooted Notebook with HDMI cable plugged in and tv on, that only worked one time so I think the port is dead. Would a USB to HDMI adapter cable work? Like this ? I have 4 working usp ports 1 is usb 3

The USB ports do not support display export.

Yup, I was able to cancel my order and ended up getting this, should be here tomorrow

I know it's getting a little long in the tooth. I have had good luck with it up until the HDMI port giving up.
