Do you have proof that this 22 core cascade lake CPU exist in 2066 socket format? Because that is the key here.
there are 22 Core Xeon available for a normal Xeon 3647 socket - sure no problem.
To believe that there is a 22 core i9 for a 2066 socket we need proof.
There are fake rumors and photo shopped CPU-Z and CineBench R20 images this but no proof that I'm aware of.

@restsugavan, didn't Intel hold similar event in USA last week?

If they really release new CPUs for 2066, we will see new motherboards.

Cooper Lake is not getting mainstream release so does not seem we will see new HEDT parts right now especially considering the lack of availability for existing parts it would spread that even thinner.

Intel launched some reduced cost 2 socket cascade lake parts as a holdover until the 10nm parts are ready.

In my opinion , LGA 2066 may getting refreshing like LGA 3647 for Xeon Cascade SP "R" series. and EOL on end of 2020 or Q1 2021.
The cost of the CPU SKUs will be lower again like LGA 3647 XEON Cascade SP "R" series. That the point of interesting for LGA 2066.

Intel may focus on Whitley platform which combine both Workstation/Server 1P 2P on the same socket like Sandy Bridge EP/E Era.
The platform not only featuring 8-CH memory / PCIe 4.0 64 Lane / Barlow Pass (PCIe 4.0 base) Optane DC SSD / Wifi AX and Sound like
10Gbit Ethernet PHY ( Successor of Intel i225 PHY) Thunderbolt 4 and many news features on the platform.

This Whitley platform will be last DDR4 support from Intel Workstation/Server . The Next Gen Sapphire Rapids on Eagle Stream platfrom
require 8-CH DDR5 PCIe 5.0 and Next Gen Optane DC Persistence / Optance DC SSD based on Crow pass interconnect ( PCIe 5.0 based )
    on 2021.

Sapphire Rapid was the last 10++ nm process as I know the next Granite Rapid will use 7nm EUV process. Everything could be change.
Just waiting for those event today.

I think the next "new" CPU (see new platform) will be at Q1 see H1 2021 (for availability in Europe)
When I see for Cascade Lake-X
