Zenith II Extreme Alpha & AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X - Help!
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum and needing a help from fellow members.
I built my Threadripper 3990x for video processing with following components.
128GB corsair 3200 memory
2x Corsair MP600 Gen4 2TB
2x 12TB Sata Drives.
1) problem 1
My raid is setup in DIMM.M2 with 2x2Tb in Gen4 mode.I'm having issues with the nvme raid and followed these settings.
Launch CSM: Enabled
Boot Device Control: UEFI Only
Boot from Network Devices: UEFI Driver First
Boot from Storage Devices: UEFI Driver First
Boot from PCI-E Expansion Devices: UEFI Driver First
When I start the windows 10 Pro installation and loaded the AMD drivers in order (rcbottom, rcraid and rcconfig). It detects the drive but installer complains it's not compatible with the windows installation. However ignoring that error and installing the windows will lead to boot errors. I'm running m/b with bios 902.
Please help me with what do I'm missing here?
2) Problem 2
When the system reboots it looses the nvme raid drive. Only cold boots will bring it back.
What's causing the issue?
Thanks so much for reading and helping me in advance.Last edited by dimsy; 05-29-2020 at 01:58 PM.

Just an update:.
I've managed to install Win10 Pro by booting up with Gparted and converting the raid array from MBR to GPT. Then installing win10Pro and loading drivers in order.
But still issues with randomly loosing the drive. Mainly if I enter the Bios and restart from there. Any fix for this issue?
