Hi MoKiChU, there is a way to update the drivers WITHOUT installing the Sonic Studio drivers ?

    Thanks in advance.

Great... I lost the ASIO driver in FL STUDIO after installing 2290. Before I had 2286 driver and ASIO worked perfectly with very low latency.

Ahh well... don't fix it if ain't broken

    Anyone else?

Where can download the 2286 driver again?

    Thanx

After installing 6.3.9600.2290 i lost the realtek sound console and i cannot configure anything regarding sampling rate or view the status of the audio ports. DTS and Sonic Studio disappeared as well. I will rollback at 6.3.9600.2286

    Hi,

Be aware that when the Sonic Studio III effects and/or DTS Sound Unbound effects are enabled, ASIO cannot work, you must disable the Sonic Studio III effects and/or DTS Sound Unbound effects (or uninstall the Sonic Studio III and/or DTS Sound Unbound apps) in order to be able to use ASIO (ASIO having low level access to the audio kernel provide low latency, but it have its own limitations).

If they are already uninstalled and the issue persists, follow this :

    - Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process
    - Use this SS3 Cleaner tool (Right click on "A-Volute_SS3_Cleanup.exe" > Run as administrator) then restart your PC
    - Follow scrupulously your INSTALL process (without installing SS3, SR3 or DTS Sound Unbound apps).

For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process.

    Hi,

As explained by Exalix, please follow the processes or ask if you don't know, before complaining, and no hello or thank you (I remind you that I do not work for ASUS), without specifying your stuff (I saw on your only other post that you had a ASUS ROG Maximus XIII Hero motherboard). Anyway :

You have an ASUS ROG SS3|DTS Sound Unbound motherboard with ALC408x codec, so :

You need Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) from the first post of this thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

    Hi Mokichu

Yes that`s my bad. Seems that got dazzled for some reason albeit i have followed the process thoroughly in the past. I installed manually the apps needed and now everything is OK.
