Strix 2080Ti Shroud LED issue (Lights fades away along length of card)

Just curios to know if anyone with a 2080 or 2080Ti Strix is also experiencing an issue with the LED lighting on the shroud fading to almost nothing along the length of the card. Some googling showed only older strix cards in that era with this issue. The side glow fibre optic cable used becomes milky and is unable to diffuse light correctly after time ...

one would think on a new model they would improve the optic used

Is this a case for RMA seeing the card is about 1.5yrs old?

ok got this RMA'ed and got my new replacement card from the local retailer ... pity there is a chance this will be an issue again in the future 😞 ...

With the new card it was so obvious despite the card being in the normal horizontal position ... happy again 😉
