Strange problem with 2 GT-AC2900 routers in aimesh

I have 2 ROG Rapture GT-AC2900 Routers configured in an aimesh setup. The problem I have is when I log into either router and try to turn off the LED on the 2nd router, which is in my upstairs. No matter which I log into, it only turns off the LED on the downstairs router, which is connected to the cable modem. I would be ok if it turned off both, but does not, just the downstairs router. Has anyone run into this issue, and found a solution?

this is an current limitation, later we will make it controllable under app.
