Still waiting on a 10980xe for new build anybody known when retailer will have them.

Yea I called B & H and they said thats was from Intel for the ETA of June 26 and said they have changed ETA on them several times. I check Best buy regular and have been tempted to buy I9 10940x when in stock. Asus Rog Rampage vi Encore without a CPU just makes a great paper weight in a 1000d case.

Netherlands here. I am eyeballing the i9-10980XE. The best shot I currently have is "pre-order" option, where they say "delivery in 2020".
My opinion? What a joke. They act like they are paying us to take the product.
Update July 6th, 2020: Things improved in the local market.

what kinda voltage were you running for that 5100mhz? you got a good chip, your lucky my dude. my 1st was a total dud. 4800 was the total wall. am testing my 2nd right now and its looking better. also got mine from b&h this time. i went for the tray option.

Tray cpu as well
Only had cpu since last monday . Had volt set to auto and was not watching volts was watching temp. Bios on auto shows running at 1.44 volts. at 5.19 mhz when I get time i will run at lower volts and see what it will do. Ive had it boot at 5.3 but not stable. Its hot right now, come winter Ill open garage door and lower ambient temp and see what it can do by dropping temp down close to 0 degrees C. This is a tray cpu as well.
