Armoury Crate Service stops when Armoury Crate Launches!

edit.... so i typed up a whole explanation, and when posted it turned into what looked like an encrypted file.

I can;t be bothered to write it all again.

Basically, i have uninstalled, and reinstalled, the armoury crate. removed and reinstalled all services.

I have even reinstalled windows.


The armoury crate service runs perfectly, until i launch the armoury crate. then it stops and will not start until i have closed the armoury crate.

The armoury crate simply tells me there is an issue with the service.

I have followed a load of guides and fixes, none seem to work.


it seems the crate clashes with the service it relies on.

anyone have any suggestions on what i can do. I'm getting tired of trying to fix this.

so a quick update.

For the first time in months, the service continued to run after the armoury crate was launched. I had all options! it was great.

I then clicked on the deviced tab, and saw my MOBO and cooler, clicked on the cooler for the livedash, and it was empty... strange.

So i closed the armoury crate, and re-launched it... the service stopped and we are back to square 1....



i don;t think i'll be reccomending ROG gear to anyone in the future, or building peoples rigs with it.
