I'm not installing anymore Intel ME Firmwares, I feel like m 9700k is getting slower by the day even with disabling Meltdown and Spectre with InSpectre.

Is it possible to somehow return the version 12.0.70.1652 to 12.0.49.1534 which is on the manufacturer's website? Asus ROG MAXIMUS XI GENE motherboard I am trying to downgrade and fail, I am not satisfied with the performance, sorry for the bad English

To my knowledge, you cant really roll back if the security version number is a prior series. For example. 11.8.70.9999 firmware can roll back to 11.8.70.8888 firmware because the version is 70 (third set) and that would enable it. Originally Posted by foetopsy
