Maximus x code nvme slot issue
My asus maximus x code nvme slot doesn't seem stable. I tried 2 samsung 970 eco drives and both were constantly getting errors and once it gets installed I keep getting bsod. I am starting to think there is a connection issue with the nvme slot on the motherboard. I have a regular 2.5 ssd and it works fine

Do you have the drive seated firmely in the slot, and screwed into the board?
And did you try both slots?

shot in the dark but when i was experiencing erratic behavior and exhausted all options, i finally discovered it was my PSU. although it should have been plenty of juice (1000W) i guess it was just long in the tooth and unstable when trying to power the whole system.
