G75 VW help, no signs of life.

Hi, this morning it was working fine, I finished downloading some Steam games and turned it off fine, come this afternoon, I try to fire it back up again, I get nothing, just a black screen, nothing.

When I press the power button, the power light states solid, the HDD light, caps and NUM lock lights flash briefly, I hear the fans kick in but nothing happens, if I press NUM lock or caps the lights do turn on/ off.

If I then press the power button, the HDD light comes on then the system turns off.

Any ideas, am I with out a PC again???

No, nothing.

There is nothing showing on screen at all, I also tried plugging it into my TV HDMI just incase but still no signal.

Hold the power button pressed for 60 sec.

My guess is your graphics card has failed.

I would suggest you take the laptop to a local computer repair shop for evaluation.

Thanks for the replies.

Would the laptop try and start up if the graphics card dies, some pc's show fault sequences with lights, does this laptop have anything similar?

I can feel the heatsink on the card still getting warm.

I've noticed to, if I hit CRTL ALT DEL the HDD light flashes briefly with the caps lock and NUM lock lights.
