If your G74 is the 3D model, it fixes switching to the 3D mode, but other than that there's no real reason to *have* to update to 203. I'm on 202 and everything is running just fine, but YMMV

Its been a while since I put 203 on my G74, but I recall it did exactly squat for me other than force the numlock state to "on" all the time.

Yes it does. In fact thats all that buttons does is bring up the calculator. It certainly doesn't act like a numlock toggle button. In Linux it does nothing; however, the numlock state boots off in Linux (i.e. numpad keys behave likehome,insert,end,pgup,pgdown, etc) and then when I hit the capslock key it switches to a number pad. Strange.
