Hi everyone,
- NVIDIA GeForce GPU Drivers (DCH - Game Ready) :
Fixed Issues :
- [Enscape] Shadows may not be rendered correctly. [3530584]
- [Advanced Optimus] Brightness settings are not getting applied correctly on certain Lenovo notebooks. [3497181]
- Club 3D CAC-1085 dongle limited to maximum resolution of 4K at 60Hz. [3542678]
Open Issues :
- Toggling HDR on and off in-game causes game stability issues when non-native resolution is used. [3624030]
- [GeForce RTX 3090 Ti] HP Reverb G2/Oculus Rift S/Pimax 8Kx is not detected. [3623293][3632289][3626116]
- Videos played back in Microsoft Edge may appear green if NVIDIA IS is enabled upon resuming from hibernate or booting with fastboot. [3624218]
- [DirectX 12] Shadowplay recordings may appear over exposed when Use HDR is enabled from the Windows display settings. [200742937]
- [Assassin's Creed Origins] Game displays flicker when character is under water near a boat. [3642655]
- Monitor may briefly flicker on waking from display sleep if DSR/DLDSR is enabled. [3592260]
OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements : NVIDIA GeForce 9xx/10xx/16xx/20xx/30xx series GPU or NVIDIA Titan X/Xp/V/RTX GPU based graphics card.
TIPS :
If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_util_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).Last edited by MoKiChU; 06-15-2022 at 06:05 PM.

Hi,
Microsoft has already answered this (contained in the DirectX Dev Blog article about Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling that I linked just before) :
Why not have hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on by default for all users given all the care taken before a driver can expose this support?
Although we do a lot of validation through our Insider population, the number of system configurations and scenarios in the Insider population does not fully cover what can happen in our eco-system of more than a billion devices. Because hardware accelerated GPU scheduling is such a fundamental pillar of the graphics subsystem and used in absolutely everything that you do on your PC, we decided to introduce it initially as an opt-in to avoid any possible disruption. Users can opt-in through the UI and for new systems, OEM are encouraged to configure and validate their system with hardware accelerated GPU scheduling turned on from the factory.

FPS improvements mainly with DirectX 12 games, and faster game loading time.
Also, here is the presentation of this feature by NVIDIA :

thanks, the only DX12 games i have are BF franchise and unfortunately they are very unstable when one runs them under DX12, hence running them on DX11 as most users do.
will one still benefit from the above running DX11?
