Hi,
Microsoft has already answered this (contained in the DirectX Dev Blog article about Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling that I linked just before) :
Why not have hardware accelerated GPU scheduling on by default for all users given all the care taken before a driver can expose this support?
Although we do a lot of validation through our Insider population, the number of system configurations and scenarios in the Insider population does not fully cover what can happen in our eco-system of more than a billion devices. Because hardware accelerated GPU scheduling is such a fundamental pillar of the graphics subsystem and used in absolutely everything that you do on your PC, we decided to introduce it initially as an opt-in to avoid any possible disruption. Users can opt-in through the UI and for new systems, OEM are encouraged to configure and validate their system with hardware accelerated GPU scheduling turned on from the factory.Last edited by MoKiChU; 07-03-2022 at 10:48 AM.

thanks, the only DX12 games i have are BF franchise and unfortunately they are very unstable when one runs them under DX12, hence running them on DX11 as most users do.
will one still benefit from the above running DX11?

Hello!
I am interested in also considering in following you about these drivers you point at (as I see you just share the link to the official driver), so I have a couple of questions:
- Are these the drivers that has the NVidia Control Panel inside? (so to NOT have to download it from the Microsoft store)
- Are these drivers able to let me install the GeForce Experience software?
OT: Do you also do drivers packages for MSI motherboards?
Thanks a lot for everything!!

Thank you very much for the clarification. So the following question goes along:
Why do you prefer the control panel from the Microsoft store?
Please explain the technical reasons (if any) as for ages I have always used the driver package that has everything inside, and I imagine a lot of people are doing that still.
Thank you as always.
