G750JW Windows 10 Pro Upgrade Failure 2004 @ 75% with BSOD?

Hi,
I have been trying to upgrade my Asus G750JW from Windows 10 Pro x64 1909 to 2004. The update starts and seems to be going well until it gets to 75%. The screen goes black for about 10 seconds and then BSOD/Reboot. It tries again and then same BSOD @ 75% and reboot. Then the OS does an automatic rollback to 1909. I just bought a second G750JW, I love this laptop, it does exactly what I need it to do with Autocad, Photoshop etc. Don't have the budget to go spend $1800 to $2400 to get the latest, greatest Asus.
Are there any fixes yet for the G750JW and Windows 10 x64 2004 install? I ran the tool SetupDiag.exe and the log is listed below.

Thank you very much for the help.

Regards,

Terry

You hardware is not liking the feature upgrade to 2004, Restore that Image you created before you attempted it.z I would block the upgrade for at least a few more months maybe forever on your notebook. Many people are having issues with this upgrade. Did WU say your notebook was ready for hte upgrade? if so it was wrong. You were running good on 1909 so just stay with that for a while before attemping again. This is a good thread to read an post issues for 2004 https://www.tenforums.com/windows-10-news/157138-known-resolved-issues-windows-10-may-2020-update-ve...

Very strange, last night my 2nd G750JW was offered the update to 2004 via Windows update. I decided to try that one and it worked perfectly.
That G750JW has identical hardware and was also running Windows 10 x64 1909 with all patches. Very confusing

Yes that's typical for this upgrade. The link and others on that forum discuss these issues with installing 2004
