I missed the memo that classifies 'spelling error' to bug ... idk seems an extreme classification for a spelling error to me.

No , there are bugs as well. If I'd start naming those, the list would be so long that forum storage capacity might run out and forum could crash.

For instance even pressing apply without modding anything under TPU in ai suite will instantly crash the system.

My fix is uninstall... never needed ASUS software anyway.

isuite is written with Qt apparently.
Working Qt for almost decade Il know that
Qt can keep text readable in bin files, so it's easy to replace few chars.
But TBH it would not be worth it , because functionality is bugged as well .

Also the forum is buggy still after all the years.
I like the black/red theme but it's not just design...
Id prefer ugly design that is reliable more..

Why ASUS constantly takes new projects if previous work in not finished, refined, fixed?

Those shiny ads promise alot but at the end of the day it has been poor software quality, even for 500usd + motherboards.

IDK about hardware, so far 500usd board has gone 5+ years.

Yes, most can be set in bios, and so far bios has been more reliable.
But after last BIOS update ram voltage is freezed to 1.2v and cpu system agent also broken.
The memTweakIt timing software is great IMO.
Can run stress test while reducing timings 1 by 1.

I still rely on ai suite for silent fan operation.
Perhaps there is open source solution to make rampage v fans go <250rpm.

But TBH even this user applicable soluion would not be worth it , because functionality is bugged as well .

I'm afraid similar specialist who previously was working in AI suite software got assigned to update bios on discontinued void warranty boards in order to patch spectre etc.

Giving access to bios sources was enough and that's why bios might be screwed also now.
Or their 500+USD MB simply didnt last 6+ years in my case.

I control my fans in the BIOS. No software needed. Need to monitor there are heaps of programs free without spelling errors or problems.

Want to buy one Aida64 is pretty awesome.

In Aisuite the fan calibration is well done IMO, nothing bad to say.
In my attempts of becoming "fan expert" it appeared bios is more limited on min speed of fans compared to ai suite.
Also I assumed they use propietary code+interface to control fans.
Some engineers surely are/were fan experts in there. Fan software had some bugs , but nothing catastrophic.

Also need to control voltages as the product marketing claimed.
It didn't say , you control for 5 years and then we screw it up in hopes consumer will buy new products that will probably also get screwed at later stages.

6+ years and the board in still not running stable software...
I thought it would get fixed over time. But appears to be getting worse.

Lately it seems software tries to control user, by directing toward idea of new build, instead of user controlling the software to fill it's purpose.

I don't want new build with all the confg hustles every 5 years . I prefer to install once make memory clone and just restore 1000times if needed...
That's why I got this board 6+ years ago, to build/config less.

But it has been mess to work with....... Requiring constant fixes after most updates.

How can I trust ASUS that new boards are better if old stuff is not even stable?

That's probably last time I'm getting ASUS gaming MB for workstation pc.

Gaming+Asus = ROG = unreliable .

If their flagship product is so poor.

Also I worked with maximus board few years ago, it seemed like shared codebase to R5E and also worked poor.
At that time it was relatively new , I hoped it gets fixed with time.
R5E is not new anymore......but still not refined.

Is it just gaming series flagship models or all models that allow increased configuration possibility?
