It would be nice if you post the pictures of both sides, side by side.

If they are exactly the same, we shall continue helping you out making that x4 configuration work. Good luck.
Thanks again Slice... honestly I don't feel like voiding the warranty, as it should be lifetime garanteed.
What I can't figure out is why with previous BIOS the 2 kits where ok @3600 CAS 14 and now I can't make them work neither @3600 CAS 16... maybe a degradation of the MC inside the CPU?
Other chance I'm considering is to sell the 2 different kits and grab a new 4x8Gb one... but I'm having problems in finding a 4000MHz kit... do you think I'd have the chance to make it work @3600 CAS 14?
    Thanks again.

    Baio

EDIT: Removed 1 kit and the other is ok @3600 CAS 14, so defintely no CPU's MC degradation... the issue is between BIOS 2103 and 4 banks.

Which is exactly the problem I have as well 2103. Drop 4 or even 2 in the 2103 BIOS and 'f9' erroring and '0d' problems, when finally get boot it's not stable with black screen reset even through it passes all memory tests for both 2 and 4 bank.

Drop back 1302 and problem goes away. I don't think they have validated RAMx4 in 2103 properly and you cant get past first morons in ticket support to get BIOS guys to look the problem. I know for fact that Gigabyte Boards can run my RAMx4.... time to get hand off it ASUS and do the work required to fix the problem with the BIOS.

I got an answer from ASUS support:

I am writing this email to provide you an update about your ongoing case. In accordance to the recommendation of our engineers,
In some cases, you need to keep older bios.
If you need the latest bios, we also strongly suggest manually adjust Dram voltage to 1.36V
Our goal is to provide you with the best possible experience with our products and reaching a resolution for your issue is our priority.
So their current workaround solution is the one I have sent them in full report about this issue xD

    lol, so I don´t know somehow I´m speechless^^.
Thanks for your effort to get some helpful feedback or at least that asus acknowledge the issue...
But still no official statement to this topic, or that they working on a real bios fix instead of a sluggish workaround suggestion.

I have asked about the bios update, potential bios fix time frame, etc. But to be honest, I don't expect the answer in near future.

In my opinion bios should be removed or marked as BETA with know issue. But they don't give a **** about that

I went back to 1302 and it's very weird but I now see ram voltage dropping down to 1.344 quite consistently with DOCP enabled, Maybe 2103 changed something that cannot be changed by flashing to an earlier bios.

I'm having the opposite experience. I was running 32gb G Skill 3200 C14 and was having stability issues with bios 1302. I went to 2103 and tried a pair of gskill 32gb 3600 c16 and it's bomb proof.

    "Love" ASUS support

I am writing this email to provide you an update about your ongoing case. In accordance to the recommendation of our engineers, The customer USES G.KILL F4-3200C14D-32GTZ, which is a memory set of 2 sticks, not a set of 4 sticks.

It is not recommended to use this combination of two groups at the same time. Please try to insert a separate set of memory first. We will get emory and try to test it
Now they will try to test it. Don't even know what to say.

I got an updated answer from ASUS:

I am writing this email to provide you an update about your ongoing case. In accordance with the recommendation of our engineers,

If, for 2103 , stetting the DRAM voltage manually to 1.36V helps. Please keep this setup. Case close.

Our goal is to provide you with the best possible experience with our products and reaching a resolution for your issue is our priority.
Now I'm sure that I will not buy new MB from ASUS.
