I was able to get Flashback to work using a smaller drive. I guess 8GB was too large.

Glad to hear you sorted it out, I use an 8GB drive without problems, must be that particular drive. Reformat the drive (fat32) and check for bad sectors or just toss it

I went back to 2010 and it was crashing. So now I am on 1302 and it is still crashing. My system config is exactly as it was prior to all of these issues other than installing some Windows uipdates. In fact it crashed again while I was trying to type this message. It seems fine under load but just idling it crashes. I have a 3950x and 32Gb Gskill Ram with a 1080ti. I have run memtest and it showed 0 errors. I am on Windows 10 2004 and I am beginning to think maybe that is the issue. I would appreciate any help. At this point the only thing I have not tried is a clean install of Windows.

I´m on Win 10 2004 and back on 1302 and since then everything is fine again.
Please ensure that after bios flashback (not UEFI) you load optimized settings and and restart. Go again in the bios and put in all your custom values by hand.
Before you flashback again the 1302 BIOS I would recommend to install the new Chipset driver, which are released since yesterday.
https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/amd_....07.14.327.exe
I hope your system will work again. Perhaps you just have overseen one important option in the bios when you set the values again and this causing the instability.
Ppl also reported issues with 2010. For me the last stable version was 1302

Strange with all those issues on C8H, I use the newest bios versions with V1 1.0.0.6/V2 1.0.0.2 on C7H/X470-Prime Pro/Strix B550-F and all three are stable and performant
Crashes under idle sounds like some voltage is way off, probably something simpleR9 5900X - X570 Crosshair VIII Hero/WiFi(bios 3101) - 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB@3800 - Noctua NH-D15 Chromax.black - EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 ULTRA - NZXT H700 w. Chromax.black fans - Corsair RM850x - 1TB 970 Evo Plus

Went back to 1302 reformatted and things are good again. I am definitely going to tread lightly with the next BIOS release.

I don't know what Asus keep doing but the last few bios updates have been quite bad, My idle and load temps on my 3950X have gone up a fair few degrees.
