    That was my fallback position with the BIOS, still fails over time. Try 1302 if you want some stabilty back and hit ASUS support with a ticket. maybe the wieght of them might make them evaulate the problem.

    Especially because with BIOS 2103 Asus stated to have implemented RAM stability improvements (if I remember correctly).

    With 2103 my ram is unstable and goes below its rated 1.35v, Usually 1.33-1.34v, Resulting in random resets and freezes.

    First thing I noticed, you are using 4 modules of RAM, which sometimes causes problems and requires of "more tinkering".

    Lets try first tuning your timings, I posted a screenshot of the Ryzen Mem Calculator with the settings you should try 1st.

    CAUTION, don't use the recommended or maximum values voltages for the DRAM ---> USE 1.45 and, if it stable, lower it step by step (1.44, 1.43, 1.42, 1.41) until 1.41 as your lowest voltage, IF stable. To ensure you have stable memory I recommend Karhu MemTest (or HCI Memtest if you don't want to pay for the Karhu memtest).The Karhu memtest is faster (which is important if you don't want to spent all your day testing one set of timings) I recommend a 6500% coverage to ensure enough stability (around an hour and forty minutes for the Ryzen 3900X)

    Definitely lower your VDDG CCD, VDDG IOD and CLDO VDDP voltages to the recommended values -> (1.000 - 1.000 - 0.950) REMEMBER that if you are using the 1302 or lower BIOS , there is an ASUS bug where you have to input the CLDO VDDP voltage as "950" and NOT "0.950" (since it is impossible, since it is an ASUS BIOS and thus -> ****)

    "Gear down mode" should always be enabled unless you already have a stable system and want to tinker further. Use the recommended values for everything except for the DRAM voltage and tRFC. For tRFC use:

    tRFC -> 302
    tRFC2 -> 224
    tRFC4 -> 138

    After you have a stable system you could try these:

    tRFC -> 288
    tRFC2 ->213
    tRFC4 ->131

    PD: And if you are desperate, remove 2 ram modules and retest with only 16 GB of RAM. REMEMBER to only use B2 and A2 DRAM slots !

    "Gear down mode" should always be enabled unless you already have a stable system and want to tinker further. Use the recommended values for everything except for the DRAM voltage and tRFC. For tRFC use:

    tRFC -> 302
    tRFC2 -> 224
    tRFC4 -> 138

    After you have a stable system you could try these:

    tRFC -> 288
    tRFC2 ->213
    tRFC4 ->131

    PD: And if you are desperate, remove 2 ram modules and retest with only 16 GB of RAM. REMEMBER to only use B2 and A2 DRAM slots !

    At the moment I can say this values are quite more conservative towards the ones that Calculator gives me... is there any chance I can run my RAM @3600 CAS 14 as I used to do before bios 2103?

    Forgot to say myu RAM is not a 4x8Gb kit, they are 1 F4-4000C17-8GTZR and 1 F4-4133C19-8GTZR. Thaiphoon output is exactly the same for both kits.

    Forgot to say myu RAM is not a 4x8Gb kit, they are 1 F4-4000C17-8GTZR and 1 F4-4133C19-8GTZR. Thaiphoon output is exactly the same for both kits.
    Thaiphoon isn't 100% infallible, while they may use the same memory chips, variation between the two kits could render them incompatible between each other at tight or sightly timing configurations... plus we don't really know if the PCB configuration is exactly the same, which is also an HUGE factor.

    Do yourself a favor and try the kits independently, if Karhu gives error, it is either not stable or a faulty module. If you have suspicious of a faulty module, you should test at stock values, use the XMP profile with a small bump on the DRAM voltage to avoid ASUS quality BIOS from sabotaging your testing (1.36 or 1.37)

    Good luck, you are close to fix your issues.

    I got the 2 kits in different moments, so I could test them both separetely then together... and always worked well (tested with MemTest, I got a license of Karhu only recently).
    But I'm gonna give it a try...

    The level of support for this board with x4 RAM configurations is shameful to be honest. Was playing with MSI board last night and seriously about time the ASUS Bios guys pulled there finger out and spent the time validating RAM to work correctly.
