I've been using the HDMI port since I bought the monitor about 6 months ago, and finally got a new graphics card that I can use GSYNC via display port.

The monitor doesn't appear to sync to any signal from the DP, I tried the monitor on several PCs and even tried replacing the DP cable with a certified 1.4 display port cable - still nothing.

I'm worried about the wear/tear from the shipping process, since I was told not to use the original box, and a few threads here document very poor experiences with the ASUS RMA process.

Should I start the RMA, or just keep using it at 50Hz via HDMI? Really want to get 100Hz/GSYNC which is why I went with this monitor in the first place.
