ASUS ROG Strix X570-E - ErP is not functioning as intended
Hi guys,
I have recently put together a new PC build and am having trouble getting ErP to function as intended. My PC is connected to a power board master slot which will trigger the slaves to turn on/off with the PC itself. This has been working perfectly fine with my previous system but does not want to work on this new build even following a BIOS update. Manually switching off the PSU with its on/off button works. Is this some funky BIOS bug?
I've enabled ErP (S4+S5), disabled USB power while off, turned Aura lights to Stealth while off and cannot seem to get this to work. I have also disabled "Fast Boot" within Windows power settings.
CPU: Ryzen 3950X
Mobo: Asus ROG Strix X570-E Bios: 2204 (2407 causes issues with my GSKILL ram not posting with XMP on)
RAM: GSkill 64GB 2x32GB 3600MHz
PSU: Corsair RM850 (2019 version)
GPU: ASUS Strix 1080ti
NVME: Samsung 2TB Evo Plus
OS: Windows 10 64bit latest, clean install
Would appreciate some help here, TIA.

You want to turn off the lights of the logo of asus rog and some more correct
If so I testing what I got with the Aura Asus program you will sync after shutdown and then select off and already this when you turn off the computer will also turn off the Asus logo.
and forgive my English

Hey modreck,
The ASUS lights do indeed turn off and so does USB power. However I am beginning to suspect this motherboard isn't truly ErP ready. When I get some time I will try to diagnose pulling the 24 pin power connector to the motherboard to see if that actually drops standby usage down to reasonable levels.
When I turn my PC off, it should turn off my 2 monitors, speakers and some LED strips I have on the same power board.

Update: I have tested out the power draw by unplugging the 24 pin motherboard connector and the PSU was still drawing too much power. Am beginning to suspect there is something wrong with PSU not switching to idle mode.

I have the same board and I noticed after bios update 2408 I am no longer able to turn off Aura when turning off the computer. The bios options: "When system is in sleep, hibernate or soft off states" switches automatically from "Stealth" to random options such as "Aura Only" or "Aura Off".
is this the same issues that you're having?See specs...

Corsair support blames Asus motherboard
Update: Reached out to Corsair support and was basically told that this issue is related to the motherboard.
After acquiring a power meter, I have determined that my computer is consuming <1 watt while switched off, however the amperage rating is at 240v 0.13a ~33-35w max draw. Compared this to my old PC with an Antec 750W/Gigabyte mobo and it draws 0.03a <1 watt while in stand by.
