GL703GE overheating, slow fans

Hi,

My laptop (GL703GE Windows 10) is overheats and the system freezes when it does so

- tried with ROG Gaming Center and it just ignores my fan speed settings
- opened the laptop and cleaned the vents - not the dust problem
- noticed that the fans are spining slow
- noticed that pipes are equally hot everywhere - looks it is not piping/thermal paste problem
- noticed that exhaust barelly has any air flow - even while gaming

Can someone help me take control over my fans?

Hello,

Can you control your fans with speedfan? This is an small application which allows you manually control fans. Its not compatible all mobos but worth a try

No I can't, it doesn't recognize GPU fans.

Sorry but I cannot, they are probably going to hold it for few weeks and reinstall windows and reformat the data in the end, and since this is my only private computer for work/study/play I cannot let anyone do that.
Even if they dont do that, I have too much private/business data on this PC to trust someone not to touch it.

I am still hoping that a user on this forum will help me with a "magic wand".
