G732LWS - how to change RGB settings to have the RGB showing while the lid is closed?

I just got a G732LWS, and have been using it as a desktop, with the lid closed while in operation.

The nice RGB on the laptop, turns off while the lid is closed though. I was wondering if there was a way to have the RGB showing while the lid is closed too.
