ROG Strix III (G731GW) - External monitor compatibility

Hi all,

I'm planning to purchase an external monitor for my G731GW laptop which is Asus VG259QM. Can I take the full advantage of it with my laptop such as Nvidia G-sync and 280Hz using USB Type C to Display Port cable ? My laptop screen is 144 Hz.

The Display port on G731GW is 1.4, and VG259QM is 1.2, so it's enough to support it.

Finally, I have got the monitor. It works directly via RTX 2070 and I observed it gives more fps than internal display.
