Do we need to replace the thermal pad for m.2 drives?
Hi all,
I need some advice.
My nmve m.2 drive (Corsair MP510 480GB) needs replacing due to a fault.
I have it installed in my ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO m.2_1 (bottom slot) with the heatsink; which also included a thermal pad.
Do I need to replace this thermal pad when replacing my m.2 drive? If so, can you recommend me one?
Thanks in advance.Last edited by pete_agreatguy; 08-06-2020 at 04:45 PM. Reason: corrected m.2 slot to 2_1
